Exchange-Institution Account Set up-Entity

This article provides instructions and visual aids to guide you through the institution/entity application to open a Figure Markets Account as an Institutional Account.

  Here are the steps to get started:

1. Navigate to Figuremarkets.com
2. Click to Sign Up
3. Toggle to Institutional and enter your email
4. You will need to verify your email.  Enter the verification code and submit.
5. Click Open Account
6. Select Entity
7. Select whether your entity requires Bitgo custody or not at this time
8. Entity Profile:  EIN, Date of Formation, registered address of entity, etc.
9. Upload governing documents, tax forms, evidence of legal status
10. Authorized Administrator: Enter information about the administrator, such as full name, date of birth, and their relationship to the entity.
11. Exemptions:  Enter your entity type
12. Role Assignment: Add at least one person who owns or controls this organization. You can add up to 10, but you will need their government-issued ID.
13. Sign the disclosures and consents and submit the application.
14. If trading securities, complete the Investment Profile detailing annual income, net worth, risk tolerance, and investment objectives to meet regulatory suitability requirements.
15. Review the Attestation and Agreements and submit the Investment Profile.  
16. Monitor your email for confirmation once the compliance team completes institutional due diligence.
