Exchange - How to Commit / Un-commit Hash

As an asset native to the Provenance blockchain, Hash can live in two states: committed and uncommitted, each with its own use case. Users may want to have uncommitted Hash so that it can be staked/delegate or sent P2P. Users may want to commit Hash so that it can be traded on the exchange through our various offerings. 

Please note: if you have pending ACH deposits, you will need to wait until they fully settle before uncommitting. This may take up to 4 business days.

To commit/un-commit your hash, please follow the steps below:

1. Open your Figure Markets App on your mobile device
2. At the top right, you will see three dots. Click on the three dots.
3. Go to Provenance Features.
4. Go to Commit.
5. Here you will be able to commit or un-commit your Hash.
6. Preview and then click on commit/un-commit.
7. After you complete the commitments, return to your dashboard and you will be able to view your balances.
